Full wash, iron remover, clay bar — strips all bonded contaminants, tar, brake dust & embedded fallout from the clear coat.

Paint Correction

Swirl marks, light scratches & oxidation are polished out. Ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath — so this step matters.

Panel Wipe & IPA

Every panel wiped with isopropyl alcohol. Removes any remaining polish oils so the ceramic bonds directly to bare, clean clear coat.

How long does ceramic coating last in Calgary?
With professional 3M application and the annual 3M Ceramic Boost Spray maintenance, you can expect 5+ years of real protection. Calgary's climate is tough on coatings — road salt all winter, intense UV in summer. The 3M formula is specifically rated to −40°C and won't crack or delaminate in freeze-thaw cycles, which eliminates a major failure point seen with cheaper coatings in our climate.
How much does ceramic coating cost in Calgary?
Our packages start at $999 (Essential — basic prep + 1 layer, ideal for newer vehicles in good condition). The Premium package with paint correction runs from $1,799. Full multi-stage correction + 3-layer Elite packages start at $2,999. Price varies by vehicle size and paint condition. We provide free in-person assessments — you'll get an exact number before committing to anything.
Should I get ceramic coating or PPF?
They protect against different things. PPF absorbs rock chips and gravel impacts — ceramic coating cannot do this. Ceramic coating provides hydrophobic properties, UV resistance, chemical resistance, and enhanced gloss — PPF by itself won't match this for maintenance ease. The best answer for most Calgary drivers: PPF on the front bumper, hood, and fenders (the highest chip-impact zones) plus 3M ceramic coating over the entire vehicle on top. Combined packages often cost less than you'd expect.
Is ceramic coating worth it in 2025?
Yes — especially for year-round Calgary driving. The math: Professional ceramic at ~$1,799 vs. waxing 3–4 times a year at $200–$400 each = ceramic pays for itself in 3–4 years and provides far better UV protection the whole time. New cars especially — coating before the first Calgary winter prevents the oxidation damage that permanently degrades clear coat. It also preserves resale value meaningfully.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?
It depends on your paint's condition. If there are visible swirl marks, light scratches, or oxidation — yes. Ceramic coating at 9H hardness will lock those defects in permanently. When you come in for your free assessment, we'll look at your paint under a light and tell you exactly what you're working with.
