At Calgary PPF we take a different approach to wrapping vehicles.

One of the biggest problems with colour-change vinyl wraps in Alberta, is that these films are not designed to be protective films. As such, rocks and road debris easily penetrate the films and lead to them looking haggard and worn after even only a year of driving through winters. Colour wrap films are also vulnerable to the sun’s rays, which easily bleach out the surfaces. To combat this problem, we wrap over top of the colour-change vinyl with 3M Pro Series PPF. This film is designed to help vehicles look good for life. It is rugged and durable and very good at withstanding Calgary weather. The excellent UV proof top-coat can withstand solar radiation for many years.

After this stage we coat the entire vehicle in 3M’s super hard M688 Ceramic Coating.

These three coatings result in a long term product designed to look good on your vehicle for life, and comes with a lifetime warranty. The final result rivals even the most expensive paint jobs.

Stage 1. Changing the colour or pattern of your vehicle with one of over 100 pattern and design options from the 3M 2080 Colour-Wrap Film library.

Stage 2. Wrapping over top of the 2080 film with 3M’s world famous Scotchgard Paint Protection Film Pro Series Gen 5.0. The world’s most durable self-healing PPF.

Stage 3. Coating the entire vehicle with 4 layers of 3M M688 Nano Ceramic Coating, followed by the M699 Top Coat.
