RAM 1500 TRX — Full Body PPF Makes Sense
The TRX is one of the most capable production trucks ever built — and with a sticker price well over $100,000, it’s also one of the most expensive to repair. The TRX’s wide-body fenders, vented hood, and unique body panels are difficult to source and expensive to paint match. A rock chip on a TRX isn’t a minor inconvenience — it’s a significant repair bill. TRX owners who take their trucks off-road, or even just drive them on Alberta highways, typically opt for full-body PPF at delivery. We’ve done enough TRX installs to know the problem areas specific to this truck and how to address them.
RAM PPF Packages
Partial Front — Front bumper and leading hood edge (24″). Targets the areas that catch the most highway debris. Best entry-level option for work trucks or trucks driven primarily on paved roads.
Full Front — Full hood, full bumper, both fenders, mirror caps. The most requested package for RAM 1500 owners. Gives comprehensive front-end protection without covering the full vehicle.
Full Front + Rockers — Everything in Full Front plus rocker panel coverage. Rockers on RAM trucks are low to the ground and take constant debris impact — this package addresses that directly.
3/4 Body — Full front, rockers, door panels, A-pillars, and partial rear coverage. A strong choice for Rebel and TRX owners who take their trucks off pavement regularly.
Full Body — Every exterior painted panel, top to bottom. Full-body installs on a RAM SuperCrew or TRX take two days. The right call for TRX owners, RAM Limited owners, and any truck where resale condition matters.

We install 3M Scotchgard Pro Series on RAM trucks — a self-healing, optically clear film backed by 3M’s 10-year manufacturer warranty. Darker RAM colours — Granite Crystal, Diamond Black, Midnight Blue — show chips more visibly and benefit from 3M’s thicker-gauge self-healing film.
