PARTIAL FRONT PPF CALGARY

The Smart Protection — Cover Where 80% of Damage Happens

Not every vehicle needs full body PPF. But every vehicle driving Calgary roads needs front-end protection. The hood, front bumper, headlights, and mirrors receive the overwhelming majority of stone chip damage — and a partial front package covers all of it for a fraction of full body cost.

Partial front PPF is Calgary PPF’s most popular package. It delivers maximum protection-per-dollar by focusing coverage exactly where damage concentrates. Most vehicles with a partial front package will never accumulate noticeable paint damage during normal driving.

What Partial Front PPF Covers

Our standard partial front package includes the following areas:

  • Hood leading edge — The front 24–30 inches of the hood. The primary rock chip impact zone.
  • Full front bumper — Top and lower fascia including bumper inserts and grille surround on most vehicles.
  • Headlights — Both headlight lenses, including LED/DRL strips where applicable.
  • Front fenders — Leading edge of both front fenders.
  • Side mirrors — Mirror caps and mirror face covers.

Add-ons available: full hood, fog lights, door edge guards, and A-pillars.

Partial Front vs. Full Front vs. Full Body

Partial Front is ideal for: budget-conscious buyers, leased vehicles, and anyone who primarily drives in the city with moderate highway exposure. Covers 80% of where chips happen.

Full Front adds complete hood coverage, full fenders, and A-pillars. Best for: daily highway commuters, anyone who drives gravel regularly, and luxury vehicle owners who want comprehensive front-end coverage.

Full Body is the choice of: enthusiasts, exotic car owners, high-resale-value vehicles, and anyone who wants total paint preservation with zero compromise.

Same-Day Partial Front Installation

Most partial front PPF installations are completed in 4–6 hours. Drop your vehicle off in the morning and pick it up that afternoon. No multi-day wait.

We use pre-cut computer patterns for all major vehicle makes and models — no blade near your paint. Each installation includes a post-cure inspection before you leave our shop.

Curing is complete after 48 hours. Avoid pressure washing the film edges for 7 days post-installation. After that, treat it exactly like regular paint — wash it, wax it, and don’t think about rock chips again.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does partial front PPF include?

Partial front PPF typically covers the leading 18 to 24 inches of the hood, the front bumper, front fenders, headlights, and mirrors. These are the areas most exposed to rock chips and road debris during highway driving.

Is partial front PPF enough protection?

For most Calgary commuters, partial front coverage protects the areas that take 80 percent of the impact from road debris. It is the most popular and cost-effective option for daily drivers who want solid protection without covering the entire vehicle.

How much does partial front PPF cost?

Partial front PPF packages start at $349 for partial hood coverage and $899 for our full front package which includes hood, bumper, fenders, headlights, and mirrors. We offer several coverage levels to fit different budgets.

Can I upgrade to full body PPF later?

Yes. Many customers start with partial front coverage and add panels later. Our 3M Pro Series film integrates seamlessly, so adding doors, rocker panels, or rear coverage at a later date is straightforward.
