TRUCK & SUV PAINT PROTECTION FILM CALGARY

Trucks Get Hit Harder — They Need Better Protection

Trucks and full-size SUVs take more road abuse than any other vehicle type in Calgary. Higher ride height means more exposure to highway debris. Towing and hauling puts them in construction zones, gravel roads, and quarry sites that would destroy a sedan’s paint in a season.

The front end of a Ford F-150, RAM 1500, or Chevy Silverado is a large, flat target for rock chips. After one winter of highway driving in Alberta, an unprotected truck hood can accumulate dozens of chips — each one a rust starting point.

Calgary PPF installs heavy-duty PPF on trucks and SUVs every day. We have patterns for all major truck and SUV models and can handle everything from a daily driver to a work truck to a custom-lifted build.

Bed Rail & Tailgate Protection — from $199
Protect your bed rails and tailgate from loading scratches and cargo damage.

PPF vs. Bed Liner for Paint Protection

Spray-in bed liners protect the cargo area — but they do nothing for your hood, bumper, or fenders. Many truck owners install bed liners AND PPF for full coverage: bed liner for cargo protection, PPF for exterior paint protection.

For the painted exterior of your truck, PPF is the only product that provides physical impact protection. Rock chips on a truck hood aren’t just cosmetic — in Alberta winters, each chip becomes a corrosion point. PPF seals the surface against moisture and oxidation.

Truck PPF Installation at Calgary PPF

Trucks require a slightly different installation approach than passenger cars — larger panels, more surface area, and often more complex body geometry on lifted builds or trucks with aftermarket bumpers.

Standard truck partial front installations take 6–8 hours. Full front coverage is typically a full day. We recommend booking 1–2 days in advance to secure your preferred date.

Lifted trucks and trucks with aftermarket components (different bumpers, fender flares, etc.) may require custom-cut sections. We can accommodate most aftermarket configurations — contact us to discuss your specific build.
