Yes. 3M Pro Series PPF has a self-healing topcoat that uses heat (sunlight or warm water) to eliminate light surface scratches and swirl marks. Deep cuts through the film will not self-heal.

Yes, and it is a popular combination. PPF is applied first to protect against physical impacts, then ceramic coating is applied over the PPF and on unprotected painted surfaces. This provides both impact protection and hydrophobic gloss enhancement.

Calgary PPF installs 3M window films, including 3M Crystalline and 3M Ceramic IR series. These films are non-metalized and do not interfere with GPS, cellular, or radio signals.

Is window tinting legal in Alberta?

In Alberta, front side windows must allow at least 50% visible light transmission (VLT). Rear side and rear windows have no provincially mandated VLT minimum. We install tints that meet Alberta Traffic Safety Act requirements.
